Climate Generally very hot, particularly between March and May. The monsoon season runs from June to October, when the climate is still hot and humid with torrential rains. The best time for travelling is November to February (cool season), although the southern islands are best from June to September. Most of the country (except the far south) has three distinct seasons: cool, hot and rainy. Summer, which starts from March until May, brings hot and dry weather throughout Thailand with temperatures between 28 and 35 Celsius. Even though it is usually hot and dry at this period of the year, it is a perfect time for beachgoers who like to bask in the sun. From June to September, the country is wet and evergreen as the rainy season begins. However, the best time for visiting Thailand climate-wise is the cool season that starts from in November and ends in February. The summer starts from March to June. April is the hottest month of the year, that's why the water festival was invented too cool people off. From August to October is the monsoon season. The humidity is just under 90%. At best this season can be described as unpredictable, there is no constant downpour of rain like you would expect. The northern part of the country may see more rain in August and September while the southern coast is usually hit by monsoon rain in October and November.
